Terms of Use

Effective April 27, 2026  ·  Echoes for iOS

These Terms of Use govern your use of Echoes, an iOS application developed by Jeff Peck ("the developer"). By downloading or using Echoes, you agree to these terms.

Use of the app

Echoes is a personal tool for your own use. You may not reverse-engineer, decompile, or redistribute the app or any part of it.

Your content

All Echo text, categories, and other content you create in Echoes belongs to you. The developer has no access to your content, which is stored only on your device and in your personal iCloud account.

In-app purchases

Echoes offers an optional one-time in-app purchase to remove periodic support prompts. This purchase is non-refundable except as required by applicable law or Apple's standard refund policy. All transactions are processed by Apple; the developer does not handle payment information directly. To request a refund, contact Apple through reportaproblem.apple.com.

Purchases are tied to your Apple ID and can be restored on other devices via the standard App Store restore mechanism.

Disclaimers

Echoes is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. The developer makes no guarantees regarding uninterrupted availability, data preservation, or fitness for any particular purpose.

Echoes is a personal tool and is not intended to replace medical advice, mental health treatment, or any professional guidance.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the developer is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of Echoes, including loss of data.

Changes to these terms

These terms may be updated from time to time. Continued use of the app after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
